Stored script execution via unsanitized placeholders
Published Aug 16, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Crocoblock JetBlocks for Elementor 1.3.12 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via placeholders. Multiple placeholder parameters are stored without sufficient input sanitization and later rendered without output escaping. Contributor-level access is sufficient, and the script runs in a visitor's browser when the injected page is opened.
