Device crash via malformed L2CAP packet

Reachable assertion in Silicon Labs RS9116W WiSeConnect 2.10.4 and earlier allows physically proximate attackers to crash devices via L2CAP. The Bluetooth stack accepts a specially crafted malformed L2CAP packet from a peer and reaches an assertion instead of rejecting the packet. No authentication or user interaction is required; a watchdog can reset service, but devices without one require a hard reset.
