Stored XSS via unescaped id parameter
Published Aug 16, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Crocoblock JetSearch 3.5.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through the id parameter. JetSearch accepts the id value without sufficient sanitization and later renders it without adequate output escaping. Contributor-level access is required to store the payload, which executes in a visitor's browser when the injected page is opened.
