Database metadata disclosure via unneutralized search input
Published Jul 26, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in Tianchoy Blog 1.8.8 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read database metadata through the search request. The /so.php search handler places the search parameter into an SQL statement without neutralizing attacker-controlled SQL syntax. A valid low-privilege session is required, and further database effects depend on the application's database account permissions.
