CVE-2024-7113Network attack vector

Service degradation via unbounded resource consumption

Published Aug 13, 2024 · Updated Aug 15, 2024

Resource exhaustion in AVEVA SuiteLink Server 3.7.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to slow Data I/O with network traffic. AVEVA has not disclosed which SuiteLink request path allocates resources without limits or throttling. Unauthenticated network access to port 5413 is sufficient; exploitation degrades processing for the attack duration without a reported crash.
