Authenticated SNMP service interruption via memory leak

Denial of service in affected Arista EOS releases allows remote authenticated users to crash snmpd with a crafted SNMP packet. When SNMP and a nondefault transmit maximum size are configured, snmpd fails to release memory while processing the packet. Repeated requests can exhaust memory, terminate snmpd and other processes, and interrupt SNMP service until snmpd restarts.
