Database access via unvalidated title query
Published Jul 24, 2024 · Updated Nov 2, 2024
SQL injection in expcatadd.php in itsourcecode.com Tailoring Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to access its database. The endpoint inserts the POST title parameter directly into a SQL query without cleaning or validation, enabling time-based blind injection through MySQL SLEEP expressions. A valid PHP session is shown in the proof of concept, and successful exploitation permits unauthorized database reads or writes within the application's database privileges.
