CVE-2024-7073

Unauthenticated resource reads via unchecked policy URL

Published Jun 2, 2025 · Updated Jun 2, 2025

SSRF in SOAP admin services in affected WSO2 products allows remote attackers on adjacent networks to read network- or filesystem-reachable resources. PolicyEditorService.getPolicyDoc opens a caller-supplied policy URL as a stream without first restricting it to an approved URL list. Exploitation requires network access to the SOAP admin endpoint, and the server's own network and filesystem reachability bounds the data exposed.
