Stored XSS in Open WebUI 0.3.8 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in a victim's browser through an uploaded file. The chat file upload path stores and serves attacker-controlled active content without neutralizing it before a shared-chat or direct-URL view renders it. Exploitation requires an account to upload the file and a victim to open it; script execution can expose the victim's session or data.
