Heap corruption via Loader use-after-free
Published Aug 6, 2024 · Updated Aug 7, 2024
Use-after-free in Loader in Google Chrome before 127.0.6533.72 allows remote attackers to corrupt heap memory via a crafted HTML page. The restricted Chromium issue identifies Loader as the locus but does not disclose which object is freed or which later operation reuses it. A user must load attacker-controlled HTML; public records establish heap corruption but do not establish code execution or sandbox escape.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
