CVE-2024-6971Public exploit

Service crash via unsanitized RAG database paths

Published Oct 11, 2024 · Updated Oct 11, 2024

Path traversal in ParisNeo LoLLMS 9.5.1 and earlier allows local users with high privileges to crash the service via a crafted RAG path. The add_rag_database, toggle_mount_rag_database, and vectorize_folder functions pass attacker-selected SQLite paths to vectorization without path sanitization. Successful use can process SQLite files outside the intended directory, install multiple packages, and terminate the service.
