Authenticated memory corruption via crafted configuration values
Published Jul 22, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda O3 1.0.0.10 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory via crafted configuration values. The fromVirtualSet function mishandles ip, localPort, publicPort, and app arguments, but public records do not identify the unsafe copy operation or destination stack buffer. Low-privileged authentication is required; available evidence does not distinguish arbitrary code execution from a device crash.
