CVE-2024-6947Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Admin command execution via notification template evaluation

Published Jul 21, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024

Code injection in Flute CMS 0.2.2.4-alpha allows remote authenticated users to execute operating-system commands through notification content. ContentParser.php replaceContent extracts brace-delimited expressions and passes their method names and arguments to evaluateExpression, which invokes them instead of limiting substitutions to approved fields. Administrator access is required to create the malicious notification, and a later notification trigger executes the command and exposes its output.
