Authenticated command execution via blacklist-bypass template write
Published Jul 21, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Code injection in article_template_rand.php in DedeCMS 5.7.114 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary server commands. The handler accepts administrator-supplied templates, applies a blacklist that misses PHP variable indirection and concatenation, and writes the accepted text to template.rand.php. An authenticated administrator session and CSRF token are required; exploitation runs attacker-selected PHP in the web-server context.
