Settings modification via nonce-free form handlers
Published Sep 8, 2024 · Updated Sep 9, 2024
CSRF in ThemetechMount TrueBooker before 1.0.3 allows remote attackers to modify plugin settings through an administrator's browser. Direct PHP form handlers, including main/truebooker-service-insert.php, accept settings-changing POST data without CSRF nonce validation. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to open attacker-controlled HTML, after which the forged request can alter service settings.
