Unauthenticated database access via reused hard-coded credentials

Hard-coded credentials in PerkinElmer ProcessPlus 1.11.6507.0 and earlier allow remote attackers to access its MSSQL database. The Windows OPCDA_SERVER.xml file stores the same SQL Server sa password across installations instead of generating a unique secret. Network access to TCP port 1433 is sufficient to authenticate as sa, enabling database read and write access and, when xp_cmdshell is enabled, host command execution.
