Unauthenticated file disclosure via download path traversal
Published Jul 22, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
Local file inclusion in PerkinElmer ProcessPlus 1.11.6507.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read Windows files via the web interface. The /ProcessPlus/Log/Download/ endpoint accepts traversal sequences in the filename parameter and returns the referenced local file. Unauthenticated network access is sufficient, exposing system-wide files and configuration without altering the host.
