Stored XSS via unescaped tooltip container class
Published Sep 4, 2024 · Updated Sep 4, 2024
Stored XSS in Secure Copy Content Protection before 4.1.7 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in an administrator's browser. The Styles tab stores the tooltip container custom-class setting without sanitizing or escaping attribute-breaking input, then renders it into HTML. Administrator-level access and a later page view are required; multisite remains exposed when unfiltered_html is disabled.
