Missing authorization in Event Espresso 4 Decaf 4.10.46.decaf and earlier allows remote authenticated users to modify plugin settings. The saveTimezoneString handler and related settings functions perform updates without checking the caller's WordPress capabilities. Subscriber-level access is sufficient; the published impact is limited to unauthorized settings changes.
