CVE-2024-6861Network attack vector

Unauthenticated admin credential disclosure via GraphQL introspection

Published Nov 6, 2024 · Updated Nov 20, 2025

Information disclosure in the GraphQL API in Foreman before 3.3 allows remote attackers to retrieve administrator authentication keys. The GraphQL schema uses the Setting model directly, so enabled introspection exposes sensitive setting values rather than only schema metadata. The unauthenticated exposure affects Foreman and affected Red Hat Satellite deployments and permits compromise of the product API.
