Arbitrary file overwrite via unrestricted export path
Published Mar 20, 2025 · Updated Mar 20, 2025
Absolute path traversal in H2O.ai H2O-3 3.46.0 allows remote authenticated users to overwrite server files through model export. The model export endpoint accepts an unrestricted destination path and writes a trained model there, replacing an existing file when overwrite is enabled. A valid low-privilege session and an existing trained model are required; file contents are limited to the exported model, but critical files can be corrupted.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
