CVE-2024-6832Network attack vector

Brute-force exposure via secondary-store lockout failure

Published Aug 6, 2026 · Updated Aug 6, 2026

Account lockout failure in affected WSO2 server products allows remote attackers to brute-force active-store accounts. Carbon user-management processing lets an unreachable secondary user store interrupt invalid-password lockout updates for users in reachable stores. Exploitation requires enabled account locking, at least one configured but inaccessible secondary store, and network access to an authentication endpoint.
