Arbitrary file overwrite via unsafe tar extraction

Path traversal in Aim 3.19.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to overwrite server files through a crafted backup archive. The restore path passes attacker-controlled repo.path and run_hash values to tarfile.extractall() without confining archive members to the intended directory. No authentication or user interaction is required; writes remain limited to filesystem locations writable by the Aim server process.
