CVE-2024-6825Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated code execution via dynamic callback import

Published Mar 20, 2025 · Updated Oct 15, 2025

Code injection in Berri AI LiteLLM before 1.65.4.dev6 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands through post-call rules. The post_call_rules loader splits an attacker-supplied dotted value into a module and function, dynamically imports the module, and accepts system functions such as os.system as callbacks. Low-privileged configuration access and subsequent processing of a chat response are required, after which commands run with the LiteLLM process's privileges.
