Database query execution via unquoted post ID
Published May 15, 2025 · Updated May 17, 2025
SQL injection in QuantumCloud Simple Video Directory before 1.4.3 allows remote attackers to query the database through an AJAX request. The qcsmd_upvote_ajax_action_stuff() function inserts the sanitized but unquoted post_id value directly into a SELECT statement in qc-opd-ajax-stuffs.php. The action is exposed without authentication; the published proof of concept demonstrates time-based query execution, while no data-modification payload is documented.
