Administrator-level stored XSS via unsanitized settings
Published May 15, 2025 · Updated May 20, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in DyadyaLesha DL Robots.txt 1.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through admin settings. The admin options page accepts a closing textarea tag and script payload, saves it without sanitization, and later renders it without escaping. Administrator privileges are required, and exposure is limited to multisite installations or sites where unfiltered_html is disabled; another user's page view triggers script execution.
