Subscriber-level stored XSS via unsanitized display names
Published Sep 6, 2024 · Updated Sep 6, 2024
Stored XSS in TechnoWich WP ULike before 4.7.2.1 allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through profile display names. The Likers Box renderer places an account first-name value into public markup without sufficient input sanitization or output escaping. Subscriber-level access, visible liker details, a like on the content, and a visitor loading the page allow script execution in the visitor's browser.
