SSRF and open redirect in Eclipse Jetty 7.0.0 through 12.0.11 allow remote attackers to bypass host validation via malformed URIs. HttpURI accepts illegal authority strings containing decoded user-info delimiters and extracts a different host than common browsers. Exposure requires an application to validate attacker-controlled decoded URLs with HttpURI before a browser or requester uses them, enabling blocked-host access or redirection.
