Settings alteration via missing request verification
Published May 15, 2025 · Updated May 20, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in Offload Videos before 1.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to alter storage settings via a forged request. The verify_and_save_api_settings AJAX handler accepts submitted AWS S3 connection values without performing a CSRF check. A subscriber session is sufficient to replace the configured bucket, access key, secret, region, and selected storage service.
