Author-level stored XSS via unsanitized Content Title
Published Aug 23, 2024 · Updated Aug 26, 2024
Stored XSS in Metaphor Creations Ditty 3.1.39 through 3.1.45 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts via Content Title. Ditty stores the Content Title without sufficient input sanitization or output escaping, so injected markup persists and executes when the saved Ditty is reloaded. Author-level WordPress access is required to save the payload, and execution occurs in the browser of a user who loads the injected Ditty.
