Stored XSS via unescaped auth-token name
Published May 15, 2025 · Updated Nov 13, 2025
Stored XSS in Vollstart Event Tickets with Ticket Scanner before 2.3.8 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via an auth-token name. The Auth Token Add workflow stores the Name parameter without sanitization or escaping, then renders it in the administrative interface. Administrator access and a subsequent page view are required; script execution is confined to the viewing user's browser context.
