CVE-2024-6700Network attack vector

Script execution via unprotected application-name label

Published Sep 12, 2024 · Updated Sep 12, 2024

Cross-site scripting in the App name field in Pega Infinity 8.1 through 24.1.2 allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts. The GridHeaderElements label-rendering path processes the application name as executable page content when the pyPreventXSSInLabel protection is disabled. Developer access is required; execution occurs in the Pega web context and can expose data or alter page content available to that context.
