Improper permission handling in Pentaho Business Analytics Server before 9.3.0.9 or 10.2.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to cause a denial of service. The server mishandles invalid or missing permissions and enters an invalid state, but Hitachi Vantara has not disclosed the affected component or operation. Network access with a legitimate low-privilege account is required; exploitation interrupts availability without reported data disclosure or modification.
