Stored XSS via unescaped saved settings
Published May 15, 2025 · Updated May 20, 2025
Stored XSS in WP-Buy WP Content Copy Protection & No Right Click (PRO) before 15.3 allows remote authenticated users to run scripts. The settings page saves text-field and textarea payloads without sanitizing them, then renders the stored values without context-appropriate escaping when the page reloads. Administrator-level access is required, and a user must load the affected settings output before the injected JavaScript executes in that browser context.
