Stored XSS via unescaped Agreement Text
Published Aug 10, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Easy Digital Downloads 3.3.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through Agreement Text. The checkout agreement renderer in includes/checkout/template.php outputs the stored setting without sufficient sanitization or escaping. Administrator access is required, and exposure is limited to multisite installations or sites with unfiltered_html disabled; injected scripts run when a user opens the affected page.
