CVE-2024-6670Known exploitationPublic exploitNetwork attack vector

Authentication bypass via unsanitized HasErrors classId

Published Aug 29, 2024 · Updated Oct 21, 2025

SQL injection in Progress WhatsUp Gold 2023.1.0 and later before 2024.0.0 allows remote attackers to retrieve encrypted user passwords. The unauthenticated HasErrors controller passes classId to PerformanceMonitorErrorLogDao, which interpolates it into a raw SQL query without sanitization or parameters. A crafted request can read database content and replace an administrator password, granting access through the normal login interface.
