Form submission deletion via missing nonce validation
Published Nov 16, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in EleForms 2.9.9.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete stored form submissions via forged requests. The submission-deletion handler accepts a deletion request without correctly validating a WordPress nonce before removing the selected record. Exploitation requires an authenticated site administrator to follow an attacker-controlled link or otherwise submit the forged request, and the resulting impact is limited to deletion of form-submission data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
