Authenticated PHP code execution via local file inclusion
Published Jul 25, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Local file inclusion in ThimPress LearnPress 4.2.6.8.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute uploaded PHP files. The render_content_block_template callback sends a selected filename to the frontend PHP template loader without ensuring that the resolved file belongs to the approved LearnPress template set. Contributor-level access and an includable uploaded file are required; successful exploitation runs that file as server-side PHP and exposes data or application control.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
