Improper authentication in Progress MOVEit Transfer's SFTP module allows remote authenticated users to escalate privileges. Progress has not published the affected authentication flow, the checked credential or identity property, or the privilege boundary that the SFTP module fails to enforce. An authenticated account and user interaction are required; affected releases are 2023.0.0 through 2023.0.11, 2023.1.0 through 2023.1.6, and 2024.0.0 through 2024.0.2, with no reported availability impact.
