Unauthenticated path disclosure via exposed Mobile Detect files
Published Jul 12, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Full path disclosure in Timersys WP Popups 2.2.0.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to read the web application's absolute path. Bundled Mobile Detect library files accept direct web requests without a WordPress bootstrap guard, and resulting PHP errors reveal absolute server paths. Exploitation requires only network access; the disclosed path is not independently damaging but can supply filesystem context for a separate attack.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
