Unauthenticated path disclosure via wpdesk test scripts
Published Jul 24, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Full path disclosure in WP Meteor Website Speed Optimization Addon 3.4.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to read the web root path. Bundled wpdesk test scripts leave PHP display_errors enabled, so direct unauthenticated requests trigger errors that print the absolute filesystem path. Exposed paths provide reconnaissance only and require a separate flaw to cause further damage.
