Livestatus injection in affected Checkmk releases allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary Livestatus commands through mknotifyd. mknotifyd passed malicious notification data to Livestatus without escaping command delimiters, allowing embedded delimiters to create additional commands. The network path requires no authentication or user interaction; reported consequences are limited to integrity and availability, with no confidentiality loss.
