Cross-customer ticket disclosure via faulty export filtering
Published Jul 15, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Information disclosure in OTRS 8.0.X, 2023.X, and 2024.X through 2024.4.x allows remote authenticated users to export other customers' tickets. The external-interface ticket overview export applies improper field filtering, so its ticket list includes records belonging to other customers. Exposure requires an authorized account, interaction with the export function, and an administrator-disabled TicketSearchLegacyEngine.
