CVE-2024-6535Network attack vector

Authentication bypass via static cookie secret

Published Jul 17, 2024 · Updated Nov 20, 2025

Authentication bypass in Skupper before 0.0.0-20240703184342-c26bce4079ff allows remote attackers to access its console with a forged cookie. Console setup with console-enabled and OpenShift authentication passes a static cookie secret to oauth-proxy, allowing cookies signed with that known secret to be accepted. The console and OpenShift authentication must both be enabled; exploitation permits unauthorized console interaction without reported data disclosure or service interruption.
