CVE-2024-6507Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Remote command execution via unfiltered Kaggle tag

Published Jul 4, 2024 · Updated Nov 25, 2024

Command injection in Deep Lake through 3.9.10 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via a crafted Kaggle dataset tag. The ingest_kaggle() path interpolates the unfiltered tag into a Kaggle download command passed to _exec_command. Remote reachability requires an external-facing application that exposes Kaggle dataset uploads, and exploitation runs commands with that server process's privileges.
