CVE-2024-6500Network attack vector

Unauthenticated file read and deletion via path traversal

Published Aug 17, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

Path traversal in iLabs InPost for WooCommerce 1.4.0 and earlier and InPost PL 1.4.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to read and delete files. The EasyPack_Helper parse_request handler concatenates the easypack_file query value with the temporary-directory path, then passes it to readfile() and unlink() without authorization or traversal containment. An unauthenticated web request can read any server file; deletion reaches arbitrary files on Windows and files in the WordPress installation on Linux, enabling site takeover if wp-config.php is removed.
