CVE-2024-6497Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Database disclosure via unescaped decoded URL

Published Jul 20, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

Semi-blind SQL injection in Squirrly Limited Squirrly SEO 12.3.19 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read database data. The getData method URL-decodes the attacker-controlled url parameter and interpolates the result into an unprepared SQL LIKE clause, enabling UNION injection. Contributor-level access exposes the required token, and returned post IDs provide an oracle for extracting database values one byte at a time.
