Contributor-level stored XSS via unescaped widget attributes
Published Jul 12, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Leap13 Premium Addons for Elementor 4.10.36 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject web scripts. The Animated Text widget stores user-supplied attributes without sufficient input sanitization and emits them into page output without sufficient escaping. Contributor-level access is required to plant the payload, which executes in a visitor’s browser when the injected page is opened.
