Proxy credential disclosure via unvalidated proxy identity
Published Jul 16, 2024 · Updated Nov 5, 2024
Credential exposure in Devolutions Remote Desktop Manager 2024.2.14.0 and earlier on Windows allows remote attackers to intercept proxy credentials. The Edge browser session proxy fails to validate the proxy identity before injecting credentials, allowing a crafted website to receive them. Exploitation requires user interaction with the crafted site through an affected Edge browser session, and the reported consequence is credential disclosure only.
