Contributor-level API key overwrite via missing authorization
Published Jul 20, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in Getwid – Gutenberg Blocks 2.0.10 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to overwrite a Mailchimp API key. The get_google_api_key function accepts and stores the submitted key without checking the caller's capability. Contributor-level WordPress access is sufficient, and the flaw changes the configured integration credential without disclosing it.
